Girls Aloud Planning Hiatus Soon
News of the World reports Girls Aloud are planning to go their separate ways in September after a series of summer festival appearances. The girl band are making post split plans already, with Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle hoping for acting careers, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts bidding to become businesswomen, and Cheryl Cole hoping for solo success. “The band will finish this year and all the girls are focusing on what they want to do next,” a source explained. “They all feel they’ve done their time in a pop band and have taken it as far as they can go. Like the Spice Girls, they won’t announce they’ve split, just that they have ‘taken a break’.”
