After Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy was convicted of assaulting a black toilet attendant in a Surrey nightclub, the sad singer used Daniel Bedingfield’s tour manager, Drew Lyal, as a shoulder to cry on. Now The Mirror reports the pair are dating. “Cheryl hasn’t had a proper boyfriend for almost a year,” an insider revealed. “But things are getting serious with Drew. She loves the fact that he’s not flash or showbizzy. He’s really down to earth. It sounds a bit corny but he’s been a real rock for her over the past couple of months. Goodness knows what she would have done without him.”
