Girls Aloud Thank Fans After ‘The Promise’ Debuts At #1
Girls Aloud were thrilled to learn their new single ‘The Promise’ debuted at #1 in the UK singles charts, giving the girl group their fourth chart topping hit. They wrote to fans on their blog at MySpace on Sunday (October 26):
Hi everyone, thank you so much for helping us achieve our fourth Number One. We think Team Girls Aloud, which of course includes you guys, have worked really hard and now it has all paid off. We glad you love the track and can’t wait to bring you the album – we think it’s our best yet! Thanks guys, we couldn’t do it without you. Lots of love, Sarah, Nicola, Cheryl, Kimberley and Nadine.
