Girls Aloud topped the UK singles chart this week with their new release ‘I’ll Stand By You’, edging out Destiny’s Child, who stayed at #2, while Lemar’s ‘If There’s Any Justice’ got the #3 position. Last week’s chart topper U2 dropped all the way to #7. No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani’s solo debut ‘What You Waiting For’ opened at #4 and McFly’s ‘Room on the 3rd Floor’ debuted at #5. Avril Lavigne’s ‘Nobody’s Home’ and Anastacia’s ‘Welcome To My Truth’ disappointed debuting at only #24 and #25 respectively.
