Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding tells The Mirror that reports they were banned from showbiz bashes are untrue. “We have not been banned from going out,” she explained. “It’s just that we don’t get a lot of free time.” As for why they skipped the Brit Awards, she explained, “We’re a new band and we weren’t nominated for anything, so we decided to give it a miss. Maybe we’ll go next year. By that time, hopefully, we will have been nominated.”
