The New York Post reports Mariah Carey’s Glitter album was going to be pushed during the holiday season but plans by Sony releasing her Greatest Hits album put those ideas to a halt. An insider said, “The Sony move deliberately shut out any hopes of Virgin recouping some money off of ‘Glitter.’” Carey’s rep responded to the report saying, “Both companies were aware of each other’s plans and both are working together.” Meanwhile, the paper also reports Carey was spotted at Spa in New York on Thursday with her ‘posse’.
