Gloria Allred, a lawyer and talk-show host, asked California authorities Tuesday to investigate singer Michael Jackson because of news videotape of the star holding his baby son over a fourth-floor railing at German hotel last week. “In my opinion, given the height of the balcony and the fact that Mr. Jackson was only holding the child with one arm as he held the child over the side, the child was at risk of falling and being injured or killed,” she wrote. Allred previously tangled with Jackson in 1993, when she briefly represented a 13-year-old boy who accused Jackson of molestation. No charges were filed in that case.
