God-daughter Defends Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson’s god-daughter Nicole Richie, 22, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, came to his defense Thursday, saying that she and pals often slept in the same room with him and that nothing sexual or strange took place. “You know, a group of us would all sleep in the same room,” Richie told ‘Access Hollywood’. “It was like, absolutely nothing more than just an adult kind of wanting to be a kid again. Stars React To Michael Jackson Investigation

November 20, 2003 – Entertainment Tonight caught up with some of his celeb friends and other stars to get their take on the investigation. Motown founder Barry Gordy, who has known Jackson for over 30 years, told ET: “I love Michael and I think Michael is one of the greatest entertainers of all time … I’m just waiting and hoping that this will just all go away.”
