The New York Daily News spent some time with Sweetface Fashion CEO Denise Seegal to get her take on running Jennifer Lopez’s fashion line. While going over the Summer 2004 ad campaign with her marketing director, Seegal proudly noted the J.Lo belts, J.Lo handbags, J.Lo hats and J.Lo jewelry – all products of her licensing deals. Then she began to fret. “We need to get a footwear license,” she said pointing to the model’s non J.Lo gold stilettos. “Footwear has to be our focus. Then watches and hosiery.” Read more.
