Gwen Stefani More About Fashion Than Music

Bartley Kives of the Brandon Sun reviewed Gwen Stefani’s concert at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on Wednesday night (November 16), calling the No Doubt singer’s Harajuku Lovers Tour “a fashion show masquerading as a pop concert.” Kives said, “With her tousled hair and athletic physique, the confident and charismatic Stefani makes a convincing star. But last night’s show was all about the peripheral eye candy – Asian dancers the Harajuku Girls, four extremely gifted male B-Boys, a kick-ass five-piece band and three video screens carrying a mix of Stefani video clips and dayglo Japanese cartoon images.”
