No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani has put together 10 webisodes where she talks about her new album ‘The Sweet Escape’, out December 5th, goes behind the scenes at the studio, and invites some of those star friends to chat.
“I think every time me and Pharrell get together, it gets better and better. We know each other so good now, that there’s this comfort zone and we both inspire each other and somehow we always end up doing something great together. I don’t know what it is, but it’s like a magic. It’s like a cultural collision. Two people from two different worlds coming together and trying to make something that’s gonna be great.”
For his part, the N.E.R.D. member said, “The beautiful part about it is, I don’t do it because it’s me leading the ship. Although she’ll say that, she gives me a lot of love and credit, but it’s really something we do together. Even when I’m pretending to be her, I’m inspired by her. So whatever she doesn’t like, she switches, but beyond that, when she brings her words to my world, it’s crazy.”
