Ashlee Simpson’s official website has been flooded with more than 12,000 posts, many of them negative. Initially, it appeared that Simpson was responding to some of the posts – blaming her hectic work schedule for wearing down her voice – but a spokesperson has since claimed to MTV News that the posts were not written by the singer.
