An insider told Life & Style on Saturday that Ashlee Simpson is read to give birth to her first child with hubby Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. “Pete texted his friends last night that Ashlee is in labor!” the tipster revealed. Pete also cancelled a scheduled Saturday appearance on CNN. “Due to breaking news and scheduling conflicts I will not be appearing on Larry King Live tonight,” the bassist wrote on his blog. Pete has since blogged on Sunday about police in riot gear on Sunset, but didn’t mention if he had officially become a father.
