Kimberly Garrison, a certified personal trainer and owner of One on One Ultimate Fitness in Philadelphia, wrote about Janet Jackson’s weight gain in her weekly health column for the Philadelphia Daily News. “My theory is that Janet may suffer from depression,” Garrison writes. “Only severe depression could drive a person who seemed so passionately committed to looking fit to go on an eating orgy that culminates into a major weight gain. Is Janet depressed about her 40th birthday, coming up on May 16? Does she fear that, at 40, she has reached her creative peak and lost her youthful beauty.”

Even if it is depression. Janet has every right to be depressed. Yes, the way she was attacked at the Super Bowl. Janet tries to hard to please whom ever is pulling the strings, not to mention, she wants to hold on to the throne. She still stands. What I’m concerned about it, she is going to mess her reputation up, like her brother, if she does not stop some of the bad decisions that she is making. And Janet needs to grow-up and count her blessings. FOLKS IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW BIG SHE BECOMES;SHE WILL ALWAYS REMAIN BIG. RATHER BY HER SIZE FROM HER WEIGHT; OR BY HER NAME IN THE ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS, OR IT COULD BE BY HER CONDUCT, GOOD OR BAD. IT WILL STILL SAY HOW BIG SHE WAS.
HOW AMBIGUOUS
I’m a fan of JANET. Just shock how she got big she almost fell from the stairs coming out of the restaurant. Her black outfit did not hide her weight gain and she was not smiling.
I share her pain and wish her well. Janet is a beautiful woman in the spotlight…at least when I gain weight only my family and friends know my suffering. Funny thing about weight gain is that it makes you depressed; however take anti-depressant meds and they make you gain weight! Go figure. Good luck, Janet.
no. She’s just old.
I wasn’t even aware that Janet had gained weight. Lol, I guess I’m out of the loop.
