‘Showbiz Tonight’ co-host Brooke Anderson spoke with Judge Alex Ferrer of TV’s ‘Judge Alex’ and with Jeanine Pirro of TV’s ‘Judge Jeanine Pirro’ about a reported divorce settlement between Madonna and Guy Ritchie.
Pirro didn’t buy the news of an agreement. “There is no way with money as large as this that the parties made an arrangement, an agreement in six or seven days,” she said. “The bottom line is they’ve apparently been working on this, although interestingly enough, Brooke, Madonna’s spokeswoman has said that they had not really reached an agreement.”
But Ferrer said he wouldn’t be shocked about if they put this to bed so quickly. “I’ll tell you this – every divorce doesn’t have to be dragged through the mud,” he said. “I mean, it’s a little unusual for Hollywood standards. But look at Reese Witherspoon. Even though there were some interesting allegations there for the media, they were able to keep their divorce, for the most part, out of the public eye. And I think that’s what they`re trying to do here. I think like Jeanine said, they’ve been working on it for a while. But the only thing that I think is going to hold this up is getting the judge’s approval. I think they’ve obviously indicated their interest in keeping this out of the public eye and that’s probably the way to go.”
