Hazlett: AP Obit No Big Deal, Lay Off Britney Spears

The Scoop columnist Courtney Hazlett visited 'Morning Joe' on Friday (January 18), saying says it's common practice for the Associated Press reports to have obituaries ready, but because it's Britney Spears it becomes a big deal. Hazlett said it's common for AP to do this with public figures, and said, "To really attach some sort of sensationalism to the fact that the AP has started work on this is not fair to Britney Spears. I think it's time that we really lay off. It's obvious there's something more going on here than just another Hollywood mistake, and if you want her to get help, if you care about those kids and her family, we're gonna stop stalking her courthouses and making big deals of stories like this."
