Heather Mills McCartney Targets J.Lo Over Sweetface Fur Use

The New York Daily News reports Heather Mills McCartney marched over to Sixth Ave. with an army of camera crews and stormed the offices of ’s Sweetface clothing line, where she presented workers with a grisly PETA video showing innocent mammals being skinned alive, to be given to the singer/actress. “PETA has tried for years to educate her about fur – at first gently and quietly, and now like this,” McCartney said. “She keeps saying she wants to be educated. So the next stage is I’ll find out where she lives and show up there. And I’ll get ahold of her at her premieres.”

Heather, you need to shut the fu** up and concentrate on enjoying what’s left of Paul’s life.

yeah concentrate on stella who still wears fur

people need to realize that JLO is ignorant, full of herself, and plain flat out doesn’t care, aslong as its in the name of fashion or about herself. JLO is too stupid and stuck up to think about innocent animals being skinned alive. she should’ve stuck with diddy or whatever the hell hes being called nowadays, isn’t he a male diva into fur fashion too?

  4. JLOVER101 says:

No, Stella doesn’t wear fur. She’s also a PETA activist.

  5. Vanity87 says:

PETA needs to calm the f**k down! They always get crazy like that.

Awesome, I am so glad to read about this! JLO should be forced to watch those videos and actually see what those poor animals go through so she can make money selling thier fur. Of course, JLO is not the only one to profit from the suffering of innocent animals, many celebrities promote fur such as Beyonce and Diddy, just to name the obvious. I am a vegetarian and I would never wear fur, it’s disgusting and anyone who does wear fur is ignorant in my opinion. This same opinion is shared by many celebrities and PETA supporters such as Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Diane Sawyer, Pam Anderson, Kim Basinger, just to name a few. people need to be treated like JLO is being treated in order for them to wake up and realize the suffering these animals endure in order for stupid celebrities to look “fashionable”. Fur is sick, plain and simple. Anyone who wears fur deserves to be beaten and is obviously VERY STUPID. Go PETA go!

So you think it’s OK for JLO to profit form the suffering of innocent animals?’, ‘JLO deserves to be treated like this and a whole lot worse. Just becasue you like an artist doesn’t mean you need to support their actions if they are ignorant and cruel.

  7. RadioFreeRoscoe says:

I agree with the message, but not the method…’, ‘Wearing fur is at the very minimum, a faux pas, because the fashion world has finally accepted that killing animals so that some vapid Manhattan socialite can look good is wrong. Jennifer- who the world is now realizing isn’t as trendy and fashionable as it once though- should really stop wearing fur and advocating the use of fur in her clothing line. If anything, she should concentrate on the current trend, which is to wear faux fur instead of the real thing.

  8. JLo_Lover says:

Actually the weird thing here is that PETA themselves originate from “Animal Testing”, there is a site about it and everything….SO I PETA should actually keep quiet about killing animals, when they themselves do it too!

  9. BSBlover05 says:

I’m so sick of PETA! They are full of crazy sh**heads! Now there’s nothing wrong with “saving animals”, but these people just need to take a friggin chill pill…as you can see, protesting like they do hardly ever works. My god. I actually hope JLo will continue selling fur just so I can laugh at PETA in their faces for making fools out of themselves. *rolls eyes*

BTW, just so you guys know, members of PETA have actually done some terrible damage..’, ‘and destruction to businesses, people, and companies. That is definitely not a positive way to “save animals”. They are just animal crazy people who would rather save animals than humans. Like say for instance, a boat was sinking and there were both animals and humans still on the boat. Members of PETA would probably save the animals and forget about the damn people!

  10. estephania says:

they are forced to take drastic measures or the JLO’s won’t wake up’, ‘and realize what they are doing and how their ignorant behavior contributes to the horrible treatment of animals. if they don’t take drastic action, it will never stop. Just sitting back and doing nothing will not make progress.

  11. jazzprofounder says:

C’mon, J.Lo is not the ONLY celebrity or person in the world that wears fur. I am all for PETA and what they represent, but I think it’s ridiculous that they have to go to such drastic and over dramatic measures to make their point.

I agree estephania, but stopping J.Lo alone won’t stop everybody from wearing it!’, ‘And taking drastic measures doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re making progress either. Sure, it causes awareness, but it doesn’t really mean that it’s going to change things drastically. I think it’s more affective for people to see what people actually do to those animals, not just make a big hype over one celebrity wearing fur. That’s just silly and a waste of time, esp. since J.Lo and so many other celebrities and people are still wearing it. And not everybody really takes PETA seriously anyway, most people just laugh or think they’re radicals, its not as if people are all of a sudden making a change about it. So how exactly is that progress?
