Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “Boy, didn’t it rain? I’ve never seen — the houses, everything was flooded. On the way to work, Britney Spears baby passed me on a a jet-ski without a life vest! Unbelievable. … I tell you it was pouring hard, people are more sloshed than Paula Abdul. It was unbelievable! Did you see that last night?! What was going on? I don’t want to say Paula Abdul was incoherent, but even Anna Nicole Smith was going, ‘What’s she saying?’ Remember the old days when Paula was just sleeping with the contestants? Now she’s drinking with them, I think.”
