Zack Yusof of The Malaysia Star caught up with Missy Higgins to discuss her debut album ‘The Sound Of White’, due out May 24th in America. “The record is definitely on the organic side,” Higgins said. “I just wanted to convey an honesty in the music. I relate to more acoustic, stripped-back music than I do with over-produced pop with things like that. Lyrically, pretty much every song that I write is about relationships – with someone special, friends, family or whoever. I suppose the songs are pretty personal.” Read more.
