Highs And Lows Of VMAs All Lows For Pop
Tony Hicks of the Contra Costa Times reviewed the MTV Video Music Awards explaining the few highs and mostly lows of the show. Amongst the lows were the outfits worn by Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson’s “award”, Jennifer Love Hewitt was introduced as “singer and songwriter Jennifer Love Hewitt,” Avril Lavigne winning an award, and *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake’s first solo performance. There were no “highs” for pop music acts.
