Mark Binelli of RollingStone.com caught up with Hilary Duff and her sister Haylie, and mother Susan, asking the girls, and then their mother, if the sexually provocative route taken by Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera is a concern or a consideration. Hilary looked embarrassed and picked at her food. Haylie shrugged and said, “It’s a choice. A career decision.” Later, Hilary said, “There was a tabloid rumor saying I was at White Lotus, doing tequila shots and showing off my new boob job. Hello!” She then gestured at her chest, as if she’s a magician showing off a conjured rabbit. Then she asked, “Have you been to White Lotus? It’s a cool club in L.A. But I was in Petaluma at the time.”

How old is this girl again? 15 turning 16? For one thing, why does she have to be in comparison to Britney and Christina? She doesn’t yet have the vocal talent to be close to their persona. Plus, she’s a teenager that’s barely developed and not even old enough to drive, so why even ask such stupid questions about provocative behavior of other artists? Of course NOW she will not show off any skin or cleavage (she doesn’t have any…). Hopefully as she gets older she will just get out of this box of the so-called “maturity” in being half nude all the time and just show what she can do, unlike many artists that seem to stage every single fake and cheap attempt to get a broader more “mature” audience.
