Hilary Duff Checks In After D.C. Benefit Show

Hilary Duff posted a new update for fans on her blog at AOL’s KOL service on Wednesday (June 14). “I had a great week last week,” Duff writes. “On Saturday, I flew to Washington D.C. to do a special benefit show for The Children’s Museum. Thousands of people showed up for the benefit performance. It was outside on a beautiful and sunny day–about 78 degrees! We sang and had a ball. I really like the East coast because they know how to rock out. To top the evening off, I heard that we raised about 2 million dollars!!!!! Oh yeah, the best part was when this kid in the first row, probably about 9 years old, held up a sign that said ‘Dump Joel for me!’ I had to get a picture of him. He held up the sign the whole time!”
