Hilary Duff checked in with fans on her blog on AOL’s KOL service on Thursday (February 16). “I’m excited for the Winter Olympics,” Duff said. “I’m looking forward to the ice skating and skiing. When I heard about Michelle Kwan leaving Torino, I was so surprised! She’s such a graceful skater. She’s won so many events. I think she’s above reproach. Michelle made the right decision by leaving, not only for herself, but for her country. She did the right thing by putting the USA team above her gold medal aspirations. She will enjoy great success in the future. Not too many people do the right thing these days. I’ll miss her this year but I’m excited for Sasha Cohen and for Emily Hughes who got to step in at the last minute. Good luck to Team USA!”
