Hilary Duff Doesn’t Want To Be The Girl Next Door Anymore

Hilary Duff was featured in Teen People when they asked her what was next for her after ‘Raise Your Voice’. Duff said, “This role is definitely more dramatic, which is a good step for me. I’ve been playing the girl next door, but I want to do other things. It’s just a matter of time. The music is more ‘me’ than the acting. And the second album is so much cooler! It’s very rock. Some of it’s punky, but it’s not too edgy. I just can’t wait for people to hear it because they’ll totally understand it and who I’m talking to and how I’m feeling inside. I’m comfortable with who I am. I know where I’m going.”
