Hilary Duff was at the Queensway cineplex to host a benefit screening of her new movie ‘A Cinderella Story’. Tickets for the fundraising event were $500 each, with proceeds being given to Kids with a Cause Canada, which helps underprivileged young people. Duff stopped on the red carpet to explain the importance of the charity. “We hang out with young people and color with them and touch them and take them places,” Duff told The Toronto Sun. “It just makes you feel really good about yourself. I think it’s important to let other young people know it’s important to give back.”
