Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden took advice from girlfriend Hilary Duff for his feature-film debut in ‘Valley of the Damned’, expected to hit theaters next year. “She really believes in me”, Madden told Teen People. “I get nervous [about reading lines]. She’d say, ‘You’re not the Good Charlotte frontman here. They don’t care about your record sales. They just care about you [playing] this role right.’ It’s Humbling.” Madden also discussed the band’s fourth album, expected out in October, describing it as “really catchy and really melodic.”
