Hilary Duff On Ending Her Feud With Lindsay Lohan

Hilary Duff spoke with the Globe and Mail about her feud with Lindsay Lohan, sparked over an Aaron Carter love rivalry. “I’m not the type of person who can just go up to people and say, ‘Hi, I’m so-and-so,’” Duff explained. “I’m shy! I’m scared, okay? But Lindsay and I were out at the same place, and we were like, ‘Let’s get this out of the way.’ And she was really nice, and I was really nice.” The singer/actress said the episode reminded her of when she was shooting ‘Lizzie McGuire’, and friends would phone her about their “intense” high-school dramas. “They’d say, ‘Oh my god, you’ll never believe what this guy did,’ and I’d be like, ‘Hmm, we just shot an episode about that last week.’ But it’s nice to be able to see Lindsay out and say hi, and not have this weird weirdness.”
