Hilary Duff is diverting from her squeaky clean image to play a troubled pop star in her latest film, ‘War, Inc.’, which screened at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival in New York. The singer/actress spoke with The ShowBuzz about the role. “It was a fun time for me to be able to act completely different than who I am and do something a little wild,” Duff said. As for whether she’s concerned about how parents of her fans will react to the role, Hilary said, “I was when I was filming it, and now I think I’m over it. I have to make myself happy at the end of the day, and I have to do things that challenge me in my work. And that’s not who I am in real life.” Watch the interview below.
