Hilary Duff’s Success Leads To Jealousy With So-Called Friends

CosmoGIRL caught up with Hilary Duff for a Q&A in their March issue and asked the singer / actress that with all her huge success, has she lost any friends along the way because of jealousy. “Yes, I have to be honest about that,” Duff revealed. “I had a couple of friends who were really nice to my face but then would go and say horrible things about me behind my back. But my real friends would tell me, ‘So and so is talking really badly about you.’ I couldn’t believe it because those girls seemed so sweet. I’ve kind of discovered that if they do it to you once, they’ll do it to you again, and you cant really trust people like that. It’s a hard lesson to learn so young, but it’s ultimately good.”
