Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed Hilary Duff’s first area concert at the Meadowlands on Sunday night (July 25). Farber writes, “Duff opened with a new song, ‘Girl Can Rock.’ And even though she can’t, she did display a cotton candy voice that appeals to the sweetest of fans. The songs she performed were as sugary as 10 bowls of Fruity Pebbles, despite their attempts at faux rock riffs and Duff’s stabs at spunky self-assertion.”
