A spokesman for Paris Hilton issued the following statement on Thursday (June 21): “Contrary to media reports, Paris Hilton is not being paid for any television interview. Nor is Paris being paid for any collateral, including video and photographs related to any television interview.” The response stemmed from reports in The New York Post that the heiress would be paid $1 million for an interview with ‘Today’ co-host Meredith Vieira and a subsequent from from the Los Angeles Times claiming the money would be obtained from “a license fee for the use of personal video and images of the 26-year-old.”
