cd usa caught up with Holly Brook for a Q&A and asked the singer, who also plays piano and guitar, what she thinks playing an instrument adds to the performance. “Um… Well it sure makes me feel more comfortable,” she admitted. “Because, when I’m singing and I don’t have anything to do with my hands, and I, I’m like, ‘What am I doing!?’ So, I dunno… I feel like I get more emotional with my music when I’m really connected to the chords and the structure and stuff. So… I dunno.”
