Rick de Yampert of the Daytona Beach News-Journal reviewed Whitney Houston’s new album ‘Just Whitney’, giving it 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. He writes, “Why doesn’t the new Whitney Houston CD have a warning sticker?! No, not that ‘parental advisory’ thing. Rather, the new Whitney should sport a label that advises: ‘Warning! Remake of You Light Up My Life’ Enclosed!’ While Houston has the best pipes in diva queen-dom, she slums in Debbie Boone-ville on ‘Just Whitney.’”
