How Ashlee Simpson Will Change The World

Teen People caught up with 20 teens who will change the world, including Ashlee Simpson. Asked what she has been doing to create that change, Simpson said, “I grew up performing, but I also really love kids. So I’ve been working with Operation Smile recently, helping them raise money for reconstructive surgeries for underpriviledged children who are born with cleft palates and lips. Most of these children live in developing countries.” She added, “These operations make a huge difference to the kids. It’s beautiful for a kid to be able to smile. It makes them comfortable and confident. It brings them hope.”
