Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday night, “Well, the Michael Jackson trial started 45 minutes late again yesterday after Michael showed up and started crying. Yeah. He was crying ’cause he doesn’t have the Robert Blake jury. That’s why he’s crying. … This has been a very stressful week for Michael Jackson. You know how Michael Jackson deals with stress? It’s interesting. He says what he likes to do when he’s in court, he likes to picture the accuser in his underwear. … In fact, while we were off last week, Michael Jackson had a big St. Patrick’s Day party at the Neverland Ranch. When the cops showed up, Michael told the kids, ‘Just tell ‘em you’re leprechauns’. … You know how they pronounce Michael Jackson’s name in Ireland? Peter Phile … Well, Michael Jackson now says he prays every morning over the phone with the reverend Jesse Jackson. Today, Jesse said, ‘That was Michael? I thought I was hittin’ on Janet. I had no idea’.”
