The Star Tribune reports Mariah Carey wore such a short skirt to an interview with KARE11 Today in Minneapolis a few weeks ago that some thought she wasn’t wearing a thong or panties. The official word is that she was though. “Yeah, she was wearing underwear,” said an assistant to Carey’s NYC PR woman before her cell phone cut out. “She did not know she was going to be seated for the interview, she was wearing a short skirt.” At one point in the interview they draped a coat over her lap. “We didn’t know that I was coming to sit up on a platform or I would have had a little bit of a longer dress,” Carey told KARE viewers and throngs of fans at the stage.
