It’s not about the genre, it’s about the quality of music. If you do R&B, it doesn’t mean it’s automatically good. If you do rock, it doesn’t necessarily mean you rock. And it doesn’t mean the music sucks just ”cause you do pop. And another thing, working with big name producers shouldn’t be an indication of a song or an album’s quality. In the end, it”s how the record sounds and how it affects you that matter, not on what rack you got the record from and who worked on your record. I’m just tired of narrow minded people who think that way.
I don’t know what will be the sound of Howie’s solo stuff but I sure as hell am not gonna pre-judged it based on whether it”s pop or not. So I say Howie, just do your thing!
I’m just saying that the whole bubblegum pop sound is out.
If you have listened to BSB music in the LATER years of their career, then that is not bubblegum pop. Neither was Now Or Never.
