Howie D. Says BSB Will ‘Get The Ball Rolling’ Next Year

While in Japan, Backstreet Boys star Howie Dorough did a 5-minute interview about the BRATZ dolls, for whom he and Japanese artist BoA did a song and video. Howie said his purpose for doing the BoA/BRATZ collaboration was to get his name out their and promote the product at the same time. Also in the interview, Howie talked about his upcoming solo album. He said it has a Latin vibe, and he’s looking forward to letting people get to see him as an individual. And he updated on the status of the Backstreet Boys. He mentioned how he just met up with AJ McLean and Nick Carter in Orlando, Florida to shoot a Popstars episode. He said they discussed a time frame for the new group album that would give each of them ample time to complete their solo projects. Next year, they’ll “get the ball rolling.” He concluded by thanking the fans and saying that BSB “had an absolutely great decade together and look forward to many, many more years of coming up with new music.
