Today, Backstreet Boys star Howie Dorough, on behalf of The Dorough Lupus Foundation, presented a $165,000 check for Lupus Research to the Arthritis Foundation. The check presentation ceremony was in Atlanta, Georgia. The foundation will also be presenting another grant in the amount of $50,000 to Dr. Bev Hahns at the UCLA hospital, in Los Angeles, at an undetermined future date.
