Hybrasil checked in with fans on their blog at MySpace on Friday (December 19), after posting demos for their new songs ‘The Ground That We Walk Upon’ and ‘Daddy Was A Scientist’ on their music player. The Irish indie pop act tell readers:
Hi all, just wanted to let you know that we’re still going and we’re getting set to begin recording in the New Year but we’ve kind of been demoing and writing for the past few months. The demos are a little rough and ready quality-wise and they need a bit more work but we figured that we’d just post a few of them up on the site in the coming weeks as a bit of a Christmas present. That way, if you like ‘em you can grab ‘em. Here are the first two, hope you enjoy and we’ll get the proper versions recorded in the next couple of months. Meantime, we just wanted to thank you all for your support and wish you and yours a lovely Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Al-Hijira, Yule or whatever it is you celebrate…. : )
