‘Idol’ Becky O’Donohue Won’t Give Up On Singing

Chaunce Hayden of Steppin Out magazine spoke with ‘American Idol’s first 2006 castoff, Becky O’Donohue. The singer, who posed in Maxim with her twin sister Jessie, was asked if she agreed with Simon Cowell that she has a better shot at making it as a model than she does as a singer. “I’m not going to put singing on the back burner,” she said. “Singing has always been my first love. But I am willing to pursue avenues within acting and modeling just so I can get my name out there to help my singing career. I mean, I love being in front of the camera and I feel very comfortable. So what better way to make a living than by doing something you love?”
