Globe magazine caught up with ousted ‘American Idol’ stars JD Adams and Kimberly Caldwell, who split up and gone different directions in their careers. While JD returned to his shuttle bus driver job at the Bop Hope Airport in Burbank, Caldwell is the ‘Idol’ correspondent for the TV Guide Channel and tours malls across the country promoting the ‘American Idol’ fragrance. “I was scared about how my life was going to turn out after ‘American Idol’ because I didn’t win. But at the same time, I am kind of glad I didn’t.” As for her ex JD, he admits, “It was weird coming back here and working after being on the show.” Caldwell says there’s no hard feelings over their failed romance. “I am not like the dreaded ex,” she said.
