According to a statement issued by Fox, ‘American Idol’ finalist Scott Savol was “forthcoming to ‘Idol’ producers and the network regarding his misdemeanor” disorderly conduct charge stemming from domestic violence with his infant son’s mother during a Valentine’s Day fracas and “the situation did not warrant his disqualification” from the hit reality show.
