‘Idol’ Trumps Donald

The New York Daily News reports that in the first head-to-head battle between the two hottest reality shows on the air – Donald Trump’s ‘The Apprentice’ and Simon Cowell’s ‘American Idol’ – Cowell whupped the hairstyle-challenged billionaire by more than a 2-to-1 margin. So harsh was the beating that NBC abruptly ran the ‘The Apprentice’ back to Thursday night and away from the ‘American Idol’ powerhouse at Fox.
