‘Idol’ Wannabe Arrested After Audition

The Associated Press reports Leroy Wells, 22, who stormed into the New Orleans ‘American Idol’ audition room “crunked” out and repeatedly ranting “Can you dig it?,” was arrested January 5th on charges of assault and firing a weapon. Jail records show he’s also awaiting trial on drug charges and has pleaded guilty to marijuana possession in 2004 and disorderly conduct in June 2003.
