Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed Whitney Houston’s new album ‘Just Whitney’ and said despite problems in her personal life, the new album “sounds healthier, spunkier and more assured in her phrasing and tone than ever.” Farber added, “The question of why Houston couldn’t put a few more songs on the album is as much a mystery as the full story behind the rumors still surrounding her. Regardless, the pop pleasures Houston has delivered couldn’t be more clear.”
