Hitsdailydouble.com reports that Britney Spears’ fourth album ‘In The Zone’ is likely to be number one on the sales charts this week. This will be her fourth consecutive album to go straight to the number one spot. By doing this ‘In The Zone’ beats out ‘Britney’ which was Britney Spears’ third consecutive album going straight to the number 1 position.
How many copies did ‘Britney’ sell in its first week?

Britneydownlo.com has news saying 431,728 albums were sold in 61.3% of music stores across north America. the final count will be released by billboard and Soundscan on Thursday. also released that Britney was the #1 selling album last week

She’s not a flop overseas. She’s top 10 or 15 in other countries, which is good. Plus, the biggest deal that matters for Britney is the US — this is where she’s from.
