Ingrid Michaelson updated fans from the road while on tour in Denmark on Sunday (September 28). The New York singer songwriter tells readers:
I am in Copenhagen.
I am far away from anything familiar.
I call a tour bus my home.And I am happy.
Being out on the road with a group of people that I never knew two weeks ago, and playing solo, and just being so far from family and friends is very hard and scary. At first I was sad and lonesome. But I got used to everything after a few days. And Jason and the band and crew are such kind souls and look after me. So I am not so alone as I thought I would be.
I think it is a good thing to do things that scare you, that push you.
