In an editorial in The Scotsman, Cary Cooper writes, “Michael Jackson doesn’t seem to have very good coping strategies at all. I don’t know who his advisers are, whether the people around him are just sycophants, but he doesn’t seem to be making the right choices. The way he deals with things is very childish, not like an adult. But then he has been in this industry and lived in a fairyland his whole life. He has never had to grow up. He has even reconstructed his face as part of the fantasy world he has lived in since he was a child.”
