Jacko Gets $250K For ‘Thriller’ Rights In ‘30 Going On 30′
The New York Daily News reports Revolution Studios paid Michael Jackson and his record label Sony about $250,000 for the rights to use ‘Thriller’ in the hit flick ‘13 Going On 30′. When asked to comment on Jackson’s movie gains, his music adviser Charles Koppelman said, “This is a small indication of the earnings power of Michael Jackson. His assets are always working and earning for him.”
